Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this site. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as a target.

What we do

• Every page works with a keyboard, with visible focus.
• Text meets contrast guidelines on both light and dark sections.
• All photographs carry descriptive text; drawings are marked decorative.
• Animation respects your system's reduced-motion setting, and the site is fully readable without scripts.
• Pages use clear headings and landmarks for screen readers.

Where we may fall short

Some interactive elements, such as the cross-section drawing and the year dial, are visual by nature. Each has a text alternative on the same page, but we know it may not be perfect.
